In order to become eligible
for CAPM, Certified
Associate in Project Management certain educational and experience requirements
should be met. One must possess either project experience of 1500 hours and

hours of project management experience. Fee structure for Computer based exam
is $225 for members and $300 for non -members
Course Outline and
preparation:
The course broadly covers

threats and integration management. In order to prepare for the exam study

Exam outline
The exam to be undertaken in
order to gain CAPM, Certified
Associate in Project Management consists of 150 multiple choice exam
questions out of which 15 are pre-test questions. These questions
are prepared according to the PMBOK guide. The examination blue print
provides guidance related to the weightage of questions that would be given
from each chapter of the guide. Two methods are available for exam
testing that is computer based testing and paper based testing. Computer based
testing is widely used throughout the world. Before the start of exam a
tutorial is provided and after its completion a survey is conducted which are
optional. The candidates are allotted a time period of 3 hours to complete the exam
questions. On successful completion of exams the certificate is awarded for
a period of 5 years and a re- examination is required for re-certification.
